High Quality Massage Course with Flexible Learning options

NZQA Accredited Courses

This is the foundational course from HHT Ltd. It provides key anatomy and physiology as it relates to Holistic massage. Students learn a range of techniques, body mechanics, safety protocols that will allow them to deliver a 60 and 90 minute holistic massage.

NZQA Credits: 4

Hours: 40.

  • 1 Hr Online Tutorial
  • 12 – 16 hours tutorial/workshop based learning.
  • 25 – 30 hours self directed learning assignment and Case Studies.
  • 2 – 3 hour hands on assessment.

Delivery: 

One to one tutorial, small group tutorial or workshop. 

Assessment: 

  • Written Assignment.
  • 10 Case Studies.
  • Study of theory manual and AV presentation.
  • Hands-on Competency Assessment.

  • Online Tutorial
  • Theory Manual.
  • AV presentation on techniques delivered in the training (USB).
  • Supporting materials used in tutorials.
  • Full tutor support via email text or phone.

Cost:

  • The course and Certification will cost $1650 per person in total.
  • Workshop fees are the same and tutorial fees paid one week prior to workshop.
  • Payment is per tutorial when spaced out over days, weeks etc: Online Tutorial: $150; T1: $400; T2: $300; T3 $300; T4: $200.; Assessment: $300.
  • Additional tutorials are charged at $100 per hour. Min 2 hours.

This course is a fantastic addition to the Holistic Massage Course. It provides deeper insight into what can cause pain and dysfunction within the body. Students learn anatomy and physiology as it related to Deep Tissue Massage. Advanced techniques, stronger tools and safe body mechanics.

NZQA Credits: 6

Hours: 60.

  • 1 Hr Online Tutorial
  • 12 – 16 hours tutorial/workshop based learning.
  • 45 – 50 hours self directed learning assignment and Case Studies.
  • 2 – 3 hour hands on assessment.

One to one tutorial, small group tutorial or workshop. 

Assessment: 

  • Written Assignment.
  • 10 Case Studies..
  • Hands-on Competency Assessment

Pre-requisites

  • Entry is open to anyone over 18 years old who has done the level 4 Holistic Massage
  • course or an agreed equivalent.
  • Foundational training may be combined with level 5 Deep Tissue if there is no sufficient previous training and experience to be able to qualify for this course. In this instance, level 4 will become part of level 5. The total fees for this option will be $3600.

NZQA Level 5 400 hr Anatomy and Physiology for Holistic Bodyworkers. Micro-Credential

NZQA Credits: 40

Hours:

400 (8 hours per week, full-time, or 4.5 hours per week part time). There are no deadlines for completion of the programme, or scheduled assignment returns. If your circumstances change so you are unable to complete within a one or two year time frame, we can put you on “hold”. You can of course, complete much more quickly than this – it is over to you. It often takes less than 500 hours. 

Delivery: 

Distance Learning; full tutor support. The course is delivered via Google Classroom, including an Audio-Visual presentation for each Module. All resources are provided, you do not need to purchase any additional texts. 

Assessment: 

  • One Assignment per Module (10 Modules).
  • Open book – 40% of your total mark comes from your combined assignment results.
  • Final exam – 3-hour paper, open book, supervised by your nominated supervisor, counts for 60% of your final total. 

Delivery Modes: All assignments are downloaded from Google Classroom.

  • On-line quiz for each Module. 
  • 10 Glossaries of key terms with each Module, and one mega merged Glossary.

Cost: From $1050. Instalment plans available.

Payment Options:

There is an initial $150 registration fee for all Introductory materials. Followed by either:

  • Three instalments of $300 at Modules One, Five and Eight.
  • One Payment of $900 at module one..
